Service Description

As a former teacher who taught writing across grade levels, the most rewarding lessons were when the students wrote and illustrated their kid-friendly picture book. We had author events, and other students were able to ask questions. It was such a rewarding experience for both the teacher and students. One that the students will cherish for the rest of their lives. Not only did they learn to write, but they also learned to illustrate. My dream of aspiring to be a writer was once a wonder but now a reality. Through the years of reading picture books to my students, I grew to spot the arc and symbolism used in stories. I admired the cleverness of the authors. More importantly, I appreciate the creativity. I can cover topics ranging in the writing process, looking for inspiration, and the importance of learning the rules of grammar for upper grades.
